Since 2021, I’ve been a consistent voice at the environmental news agency Mongabay and currently serve as a freelance features correspondent for the BBC. My work has reached audiences through top-tier publications like The New Humanitarian, US News & Travel, Time Out, the Evening Standard, Viator, World Travel Magazine, Fodor’s, Frommers, and more. Beyond journalism, I craft thought leadership and corporate content for businesses, with a focus on STEM industries.

As well as written articles, I’ve also produced a short documentary about firefighters in the Pantanal for Mongabay and have worked on the video production of two other films. I have a post-graduate in TV and radio journalism. I speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
